FLEXIBILITY

Since the Body-in-White manufacturing process handles the portion of the vehicle that comprises a majority of the vehicle’s weight, many different lighter-weight steels with new properties are incorporated into BIW design process improvements. This may require changes in applications also. It is important that the tools and equipment employed during the BIW process are flexible and easily adjustable to perform effectively when modifications in the process or of the materials are created. DESTACO’s products offer the flexibility required. Modular robotic tooling, adaptors, tolerance compensating clamps, auto-release venturis, and easily replaceable and interchangeable products provide the necessary accommodations when modifications are needed.
